My music life began when I was three. The venue of my first performance was a pub my parents took me to. I stood on one of the tables and sang.

By the age of 12, I had penned my first song and also found my instrument of choice … the bass guitar.

My early influences in my musical creations were artists like JJ Cole and Tony Jo White, and at the time I didn’t follow main stream music. Then, in my twenties I made the decision to travel, to find new music styles and a new audience to hear my music.

I arrived in Nashville where I was truly amazed by the talent and new music that I found there. I found myself in awe of the underground Maz Café run by Mark Feathers.  We played together at the Animal and Naked evening. Maz café was the place to be back then.

Whilst playing at Maz Café, I once glanced into the audience to see Kylie and Danni Minogue, Anita Pallenberg and the late, great, George Michael.

With many high profile connections in the industry, my music took me to West Point Studios and my career was taking off – but then disaster struck! It was then I discovered that I was going deaf. With all the potential I had before me it was the worst news I could have been given.

I went to my GP who gave me a nasal spray but that didn’t work and I ended up going to Harley Street for a second opinion. After a CT scan they discovered a bone was growing in my middle ear. The good news was that the problem could be fixed with some surgery.

The procedure was quite risky and I was told by the doctors that I could have lost my hearing all together. The healing process however would take time and meant that I couldn’t have both ears done at the same time, causing me to put my musical career on hold. After two years I could finally return to my music and set about making a new album.

I am now currently working on another album influenced by funk and soul and of course all my life experiences which I cant wait for you to hear.

Thank you to all my loyal fans and my family for their love and support. I couldn’t do it without you.
